UMKC Institute for Human Development Websites
Missouri After Abuse
The fully custom Missouri After Abuse website is a tool for guiding people with developmental disabilities through responding to abuse. The website features plain language, straight-forward interactive visuals, and multi-lingual functionality. The focus is on helping someone take action when they don't know what to do. Additionally, the site coaches the abuse survivor through what may happen in coming months, preparing them for new, often stressful experiences.

Missouri Family to Family
Missouri Family to Family's fully custom website replaced a poorly functioning landing page. The organization provided newly developed logos and icons with a vibrant color scheme. The vivid, upbeat visuals align with partner organizations like LifeCourse Nexus. The website showcases people with developmental disabilities throughout the entire lifespan. The organization is primarily run by parents and serves as a place to connect families living with developmental disabilities with resources and other families in the developmental disabilities community. The main drive of the website is to encourage a family member to pick up the phone and make a call.
